1 lb sausage
1 lg onion, chopped
2 31-oz cans pork and beans
1 c brown sugar
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 c hot water
1 tsp salt
Fry sausage in skillet; break up as it cooks, until done. Drain well. Combine sausage, onion, beans and sugar. Dissolve ginger and salt in water. Bake in 2 1/2 qt casserole at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
